This sheepskin came from one of our Dorper cross sheep who lived a happy life grazing our mountain pastures. All our skins were tanned at the Vermont Natural Tannery, using their chemical free tanning process. This hide is from a hair sheep with more fine hair than wool. It does have some soft down near the top with the black spot and would make a great rug or chair cover.
